For those who aren't familiar, the Dark Souls Giant Dad is an old build that's become a meme over the years thanks to its hilarious nature. It has a history of being utilized by players who engage in PvP griefing, and despite its mixed success rate, its reputation persists to this day. The player character in Elden Ring can be deeply customized, allowing them to change their fighting style by selecting from a diverse arsenal of weapons and armor. They are able to create unconventional builds, which can lead to something amusing for players and give their character a peculiar appearance. This ability is made available to them by the game. Jar Cannon, Great Jars Arsenal, and Beastman's Jar Shield are just a few of the jar-related items that were displayed by an Elden Ring player as an example of their jar tank build. The build grants the player the ability to call upon the spirit of living jars for assistance while they are engaged in combat.

An Elden Ring player who posts under the name Les_Waste on Reddit has shared a screenshot of the Giant Dad build that they came across in The Lands Between

- The build appears to be composed of an Olivinus Glintstone Crown and a Tree Sentinel armor set

- Elden Ring supporters in the comments have stated that it also makes use of Zweihander and Catch Flame

- Aside from the aesthetics, this one-of-a-kind build and the Dark Souls Giant Dad are comparable in the sense that they both place an emphasis on dumping stats into endurance, vitality, and strength in order to make the character as resilient and nimble as is humanly possible

- If players are interested in utilizing this build, they must first locate or purchase Zweihander, a colossal sword that scales primarily with strength and can be found in the far west of the Weeping Peninsula

- This sword is required for the build

- In addition, the build calls for the use of the Tree Sentinel armor set, which provides superior protection against both physical and fire damage

- You can find the complete set of armor within the Auriza Hero's Grave that is located in Elden Ring

- Olivinus Glintstone Crown, which can be found in the Academy of Raya Lucaria, is the final piece that players will need to complete the Giant Dad build

Since Elden Ring has been available for some time, one of the most effective strategies for vanquishing formidable foes is to construct builds with a wide range of capabilities, each of which comes with its own set of advantages. There are a number of overpowered builds in Elden Ring that players can use to clear out multiple targets at once, increase their durability, or turn the Tarnished into a stealth assassin. Players can use these builds to accomplish any of these goals. To make matters even better, there is nothing stopping players from giving these builds a shot in order to breathe new life into their experiences. Playable versions of Elden Ring are currently available for the personal computer (PC), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
